Wills
We will prepare a Will to meet your personal and individual requirements.
In the absence of a Will the right of inheritance is set out by legislation and the purpose of a Will is to enable you to decide important issues on your death including:
- Appointment of Trustees and Executors as to the administration of your estate when you die
- Who is to inherit your assets
- Appointment of Guardians in respect of under age children • Tax planning in respect of Inheritance Tax Liability
- Probate and Administration of Estate
We provide a full service in respect of application for probate or letters of administration. We recognise that this can be a very distressing and difficult time and provide a sensitive and sympathetic service.
We can act either as Executors or on instruction of Executors and take over full responsibility in respect of estate administration.
Power of attorney
A Lasting Power of Attorney appoints someone to manage your affairs in circumstances where you lose capacity. In the absence of a Lasting Power of Attorney your relatives or friends would be unable to deal with your finances and it would be necessary for an application to be made to the Court of Protection for an Order.
We can assist in respect of the drawing up of Powers of Attorney to deal with your property and financial affairs and to deal with your personal welfare.
Wherever possible we will provide you with a fixed fee quotation.
Elderly Client Services
We work in conjunction with expert Independent Financial Advisors and Accountants in providing elderly clients with advice and assistance as to the protection of assets, the creation of trusts and inheritance tax advice.
